Zara Home.
When we were in Italy earlier this summer, we stumbled upon Zara Home in Rome. I am hoping like so many great European stores, this one makes its way over to the states in the near future. Although not on their site, they had these adorable, individual glass cupcakes stands with cloches (like these) that were around $8 a piece. They were entirely impractical to buy, but I still think of them.
These are reusable linen napkins, up to five washes.
What stores do you long to see in your city? I would like to add a big fat Trader Joe's to Tallahassee.

Can I Move In?
In my mind, everything Restoration Hardware does is perfect. That is one store I walk in and I am ready to move in (and Bungalow Classic in West Atlanta and Ralph Lauren on Magnificent Mile in Chicago and Ralph Lauren on Madison Ave in NYC). Restoration Hardware just opened two new stores and please check out their goodness below.
This is in West Hollywood, and I hope they utilize their outdoor space to host parties.

They opened a Baby & Child store in Corte Madera, CA as well. Looking through these photos makes me wonder, how can I quadruple my salary to furnish my home with this stuff?

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
I picked up a Restoration Hardware Baby & Child catalog yesterday and much like the parent company, they have very neutral, I-can-use-this--for-the-rest-of-my-life, furniture pieces. I'll show you how transitional they are.
Dressers that can be used as nightstands.

Mini French Wing Chair: adorable!

It's so adorable when little babies and toddlers are dressed like big people. I think it's equally charming when their furnishings are so chic!

Antiquing.
I had no idea Tampa was such a great resource for antique & other household finds. I was there last week for work and decided to stop by a few shops in between appointments. I told some friendly shop owners I was hunting for a coffee table and she said "You must go to Schiller's- two blocks over. It looks like junk, but it's not."

Schiller's was the ultimate "sale rush" for me. There was too much to look through and too little time. The owner and his wife run this as their hobby. He is a builder and she is a interior designer. Many Tampa designers consign their items in this shop as well. The prices were so affordable it was almost comical.

I bought some old barn wood and a metal base for the coffee table I've been searching for. I will post pictures as soon as it is built.
Here's a little map to give you an idea of the amount of stores available to shop through:

Evolved.
Props to Crate & Barrel. Chairs are my weakness, and these just made my heart flutter.
I'd place a pair of these in a living room.

This chair would look nice paired with a clean-lined desk [casters=love]

These would look awesome next to a fireplace.

An oversized wingback would look great in a library, office, man cave, tucked in a corner with a soft blanket and a good book, etc... it could fit in a lot of places.
They all look more lived in vs their typical modern lines.

Excuse me...
...while i wipe drool off my screen.
I was recently in the A.T.L. and I stopped by a few of my favorite stores, Bungalow Classic and Star Provisions. (I previously blogged about these stores on my last trip)

Affordable Treasures.
I don't know the unofficial cut off age to stop shopping at Forever 21 or Urban Outfitters. But, I hope it's NEVER!
Allow me to share some Urban Outfitters goodies. This tortoiseshell watch (My brother bought me this watch for my bday and I love it)
These trendy ikat pillows.
I'm still a fan of this rose rug
This ruffle duvet is darling. If I did not own an identical shower curtain, I would want it. "Too much of a good thing..."

Are you still a teeny bopper at heart?
