Its the simple things in life...

Allow me to introduce you to my favorite sandwich of the moment. A glorious homemade hummus, veggie creation that makes me look forward to lunch everyday.
The ingredients are simple: hummus, cucumbers, sprouts, tomatoes, and banana peppers and yes, the banana peppers are a must.
I'll give you the homemade hummus recipe: it's a crowd pleaser.
1 can of chick peas
4-5 cloves of garlic
1 lemon
a few dashes of salt
1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Add them in your food processor and adjust salt/oil/lemon/garlic as needed. I cook without measurements, just taste as you go and you'll never get the same meal twice.
Also, my husband is sweet. He picked flowers from our backyard and left them in the kitchen for me. I cherish the small gestures. Love you babe!

First off, can I get your hubby to give mine lessons? :) That is precious

Also, I _love_ banana peppers and never thought to just throw them in a sandwich - how perfectly simple and delicious!

I love love love hummus and that sandwich looks delicious. I am going to get a little food processor so I can make my own because it is so expensive at the store but I love it. I just bought more today.
