Baby Shower.

Last weekend we had a baby shower in my husband's hometown. It was a beautifully decorated and entertaining evening. Once again, I feel spoiled for our little boy and secure with how much love is already surrounding him. I can't wait for him to enter our world.

Here are some snippets from the evening.

Any party that has this many avocados is a winner in my book.

My sister in law is incredibly talented at making witty gifts and poems.

Cute origami wrapping paper idea...

In other news, the nursery is moving along and becoming more beautiful each day. I think in two weeks it will pretty much be complete, so hang on, updates are on the way.

Shower him with love...

Baby Reid had his first party over the weekend. My friends hosted and pulled together quite a detailed and decked out shower, as you will see below.
My friends that hosted the party work 10-14 hour days. They somehow managed to paint letters, make the most insane fondant cookies and decor. I felt very loved and appreciated all the effort that went into this shower.

It's hard to post pictures when my cheeks are so big, but let's be real. I'm simply growing and growing...

Team Talitha.

I'm entering a new stage in life where baby showers are becoming the new bachelorette parties.

Team Talitha hosted a shower at mi casa for the lovely Lindsay and soon to arrive Talitha. I'll throw in a quick tissue paper pom-pom tutorial for easy, cheap party decor.

Fold 8 tissue papers {standard packet of tissue paper} into an accordion, attach with a ribbon or fishing wire.

cut edges to your liking

than pull the layers of tissue apart and hang

Here's what we enjoyed: passing around Carter Brooks

sipping pink lime lemonade, watermelon basil tea and peach mint tea

lots of cupcakes

and jokes that did not make much sense

Oh, I love Lindsay. She's so sassy. She will kick you if you give her baby pastels.
