(if only this rug came in sizes larger than 2 x 3)
What a nice pair these make.

Accessories.

Pottery Barn's accessories are looking pretty good these days. I'll have to keep my eye out to see what goes on sale. I especially love the glass water bottles and the wall cubbies.

Watch your step.

It might be more fun to watch where we walk if stairs were this snazzy. I like the creativity.

I like stripes.

My image files are overflowing with proof. {in my humble opinion, the thicker the stripe the greater the impression}

Excuse me, how perfect is this muted gray entryway?

The Power of Grouping.

With the holidays approaching I wanted to round up some wonderful set-ups that have caught my eye. The themes I've noticed are grouping & color palette. Here are my two cents for holiday decor- be it a buffet table for a dinner party or transforming your home into a winter wonderland, make one focal point. It can be stressful to feel the need to decorate your entire home, but if you centralize your decor you have a better chance at making a lasting impression. So don't stress about the details, have fun with them.
The above images are from the unstoppable, Amy Atlas. She is so inspiring and detailed. I adore her creations.

Pumpkin Passion.

Fall has arrived in Tallahassee, at least this morning it finally cooled off. I drove to work with the windows down, a smile on my face and Miley Cyrus on the radio {don't deny it, she has a catchy song}. What I would give for an office with operable windows, I digress...

While we are entering the fall season, lets look at some clever ideas of decorating with pumpkins on the interior of your home.

Don't forget the adorable white pumpkins available at Publix right now {if you're in the south}

Pumpkins on the exterior. This Pottery Barn look {below} is a little too artificial for me, but I see where they were going with it and I like it. They mixed in different colors and textures for a more interesting look. I especially love the lanterns and the twig pumpkins {available at Target and Michael's} This monochromatic look works great as well. Throw in some mums and pumpkins of differing size for instant curb appeal.

How will you be decorating this fall?
