Loving the 8-5.

Work-is-fun.

Last week, I had the opportunity to go to Watercolor/Seaside/Alys Beach/30-A with the FSU Film School. We screened an indie film, The Myth of the American Sleepover, that was directed, edited, and produced by seven FSU Film School alums. We watched the film in the Boathouse at Watercolor and aside from the sauna-like temperatures, it was quite a delightful evening.

Because I was in one of my favorite blogger's neighborhood, I invited Erika of Urban Grace to attend. She brought her incredibly talented photographer friend, Marla of Marla and Shane. These two were so fun. It felt like I was meeting celebrities, but I was able to play it cool. I left feeling like a friend instead of a blog stalker!
The fun didn't stop there. Studio b. at Alys Beach had an after party for us. If you aren't familiar with Studio b. it's a "playground for the imagination" created by Colleen Duffley. It's a creative venue that brings together the best of the best in art, photography, cooking, wine, fashion, etc...
This gourmet couple cooked for us {Brooke Parkhurst who penned Belle in the Big Apple and her chef husband, Jamie Briscione}

It was a great evening and I can't wait for my next trip to the Emerald Coast.
