One thing I knew before I started dreaming of the kitchen was that it must include a farmhouse sink. "No cottage is complete without a farmhouse, or apron-front, sink."- Cottage Living. Our friends, the Houghtons, have this sink from Ikea in their kitchen. Kim says it holds up well and she is entirely pleased with the product, so decision made: Ikea Farmhouse sink it is.Regarding the faucet, I love the antique design of the second picture from Kohler I know the pull out spray of the first design will be easier to clean the sink, but in this case I'll take design over function.
