Ceiling Details

Ceilings have always been a first love for me (design wise). I hope to one day live in a house with 12' ceilings so we can add architectural interest to this under utilized space. Or a farm house so I have have exposed beams. I an thank my parents for instilling this love in me. They have a 27' ceiling- mom, will you send me a pic to post?

I was recently asked for design ideas for an upscale home with tall ceilings and no architectural interest. My first suggestion is going to be a tray ceiling.
