Who wants a new recipe?

First I must make a recommendation about a cook book that I use time and time again because of the freshness and simplicity of each recipe. Of course it's from Martha.

Last night we had Drew and Jo over for dinner. Jo destroyed her oven/microwave and has been cooking dinner in a toaster oven for 13 days. We wanted to spend some time with these two and give them a break from turkey sandwiches. So we grilled turkey burgers!

If you're looking to spice up your life through a meal, I recommend grilling this. It's juicy and delicious and you'll want to make it again.
*If your husband is anything like mine he'll say something like "I just don't understand why we can't use beef" but once he starts to eat it he'll tell you "great job".

Beef is still better. Ashley is as clueless purchasing meat at Publix as I am shopping for lingerie at Victoria's Secret. We both just wander around looking for items on sale.

Hey Ashley,
This is Jessica (Gilligan) Wylie-we went to TCO/Centerpoint together. Anyway, I just have to tell you that I LOVE your blog! As a recently-married-moved-into-old-house gal, I'm loving all your beautiful ideas! We've just redone the bonus room in our house and made it a fabulous master bath suite, but there is still loads of work to be done! Thanks for sharing your ideas! Your house looks amazing!

tried it. loved it. served with grilled zucchini and fresh tomato slices and spinach with a side of sweet potato fries. these turkey burgers were a refreshing alternative to the 'beef' tony is so fond of. bryan was skeptical as well but really enjoyed eating these bad boys. and for dessert, a lemon mousse by the barefoot contessa, served with homemade whipped cream and raspberries. it's official. we know how to entertain.

Don't get me wrong, the turkey burgers were very good, but I am still partial to beef. I think it's in the male DNA.
