I almost always pick the house. If given $100 dollars, I'd probably buy a lamp or fabric before I spent the money on shoes. It's just how I'm wired. via: Bottom of the Ironing Basket

agreed. I've been collecting furniture and housewares since highschool. wired differently...I should say so!
Hah that's too funny - within the past few months it's definitely switched over to the house. Why is that?!??
Alaina
we are one in the same:)
I was just having this same debate in my head yesterday as I pondered what to spend my birthday money on... i think I'm definitely going with the home this time!
P.S ~ I’ve left you a little award over on my blog :)
i always buy for my wardrobe - hence my house situation!
Oh, I'm right there with you!! I'd much rather buy something for the house.... I'll buy stuff for the house until I get into the situation where I actually really NEED clothes or shoes! LOL!
It used to always be about 'me'. When I was pregnant I didn't buy a thing. I had my pants altered so I wore my same jeans my whole pregnancy, so when I gave birth I fit nothing and always shopped for myself, but always hated that nothing was getting done in the home! That has quickly changed! It's hard, but I love seeing my house become our home!
